DbDHosting.com runs the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP4) for best case routing. The BGP4 protocol is a standard that allows for the routing of packets of information sent out from our network. Each packet of information is evaluated and sent over the best route possible. Because of our redundant network architecture, packets may be sent via alternative routes even if they are being delivered to the same end user. Should one of our providers fail, packets leaving our network are automatically redirected through another route via a different provider.

| Facility Security |
Our facilities have multiple redundancies with Fortress style construction, they also have Multi-layer security systems with Motion detectors. There are strict security policies with Fixed and roving security guards. The data center is physically isolated from everyone but level three technicians. Public access is strictly forbidden. Access to the floor the datacenter resides on is restricted and completely locked down.
Customer is only allowed in to our facilities when accompanied by a technician and need to be added to the access list at least 24 hours before. These facilities have State-of-the-art fire detection and suppression systems with Key card and biometric access. Our main facility has a 24-hour police presence. All of our facilities are Manned 24x7x365, with Cameras, including pan-tilt-zoom cameras, located throughout exterior and interior.

| Power Systems |
DbDHosting.com is not reliant upon the local power grid to guarantee maximum uptime. Our on-site, auto-switched power generator and centralized UPS systems provide power conditioning and ensure uninterrupted data center operation. Additionally, the generator is regularly tested to ensure that it will continue to function in the event of an emergency. Our main facility is fed commercial power from 2 main FP&L sub-stations with 4 - 13,200 volt underground feeders. There are also two generator vaults per floor sized for 3 generator sets each with two fuel vaults providing a total capacity of 180,000 gallons of diesel fuel. The fuel loading stations can house 4 tankers which can supply an additional 80,000 gallons of fuel if needed. The Fuel tanks are double steel walled.
